Shaped positions
You pick a price range, a number of slices (up to 20) and a shape. Trion splits your deposit across the slices by weight and mints one Uniswap position per slice, directly to your wallet.
Slices above the current price hold the base token, slices below hold the quote token, and the slice that spans the current price holds both. As price moves through your range, each slice converts from one token to the other.
- Even: the same amount in every slice.
- Ramp up / Ramp down: more liquidity towards the top or bottom of your range.
- Bell: concentrated around the middle, thinning out at the edges.
Fee-earning vaults
A vault is one shared Uniswap position that many people stake into. Your share of the vault equals your share of its liquidity.
Collected swap fees are streamed to stakers over 7 days instead of paid out at once, so nobody can stake right before a big fee day, claim, and leave. You can deposit both tokens or a single token; single-token deposits are swapped into the right ratio.
Vaults have an emergency withdraw path that returns your principal even if fee collection is ever blocked.
Limit orders
A limit order is a single-sided position placed in a narrow range just above (sell) or below (buy) the current price. While it waits, it is real liquidity and earns swap fees.
When price crosses your range, the order is fully converted and closed for you. Cancelling an unfilled order is free and returns your tokens plus any fees earned.
Fees
- Shaped positions: no Trion fee. You pay only network gas.
- Vaults: 3% of fees earned, never principal. Capped at 10% in the contract.
- Limit orders: 1% of the filled amount, or 0.5% if you hold 1,000,000+ $TRN. Unfilled cancels are free.
$TRN
Holding $TRN lowers your limit order fee. The contract address and official buy link are always shown on the home page and portfolio. Always check the address before buying.
Risks
- Impermanent loss: concentrated liquidity amplifies both fee income and divergence loss.
- Out of range: when price leaves your range, a position stops earning fees until it returns.
- Smart contract risk: the contracts are unaudited. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.
